Outdoor Loose Tube Cables are designed for outdoor use. They are positioned in a loose tube made of high modulus plastic. Outdoor fiber optic cables are made to protect the optical fiber to operate safely in complicated outdoor environment. Most outdoor fiber cables are loose buffer design, with the strengthen member in the middle of the whole cable, the loose tubes surround the central strength member. Inside the loose tube there is waterproof gel filled, whole cable materials used and gels inside cable between the different components (not only inside loose tube) will help make the whole cable resist of water.

    PBT loose tube of 2-12 fiber, Tube thickness: 0.3±0.05mm, Diameter:  2.1±0.1um,  Fiber (Fiber characteristic), Cladding diameter: 125.0±0, Fiber characteristics: Diameter: 242±7 um, UV color fiber: Standard chromatogram. Central Strength member: steel wire with Diameter: 1.6mm. It has a Filling Compound; Longitudinal corrugated steel tape laminated with polyethylene on both sides. Consequently, it has a Corrugated steel Thickness: 0.4 ±0.015, Steel thickness: 0.15±0.015, Black MDPE out jacket, Jacket thickness: 1.8 ±0.20mm and Diameter: Cable Diameter: 10.5±0.20mm.

    What is Differences between GYTS optical cable and GYTA optical cable?

    GYTS cable is universal optical cable; it can be used in aerial, duct and direct-buried while GYTA can be used in aerial cable and duct cable not in direct-buried cable.The S in GYTS refers to steel strip which can sustain large pulling force, the A in GYTA refers to Aluminum strip which has better anti-rust and moisture resistance than steel strip, therefore, GYTA cable has longer service life when used in duct transmission. Choose GYTS cable when tensile strength is needed.
